Ragnarok Journey: Q & A

Since I am very interested about the game, I asked a favor from one of my first to answer these questions before trying the  game.  So here is it!

A. What are your expectations on playing the game as your current job class and level.
I didn't expect that Merchant Class in Ragnarok Journey would be that good. I expect that its only job is to vend and craft items for you main. Having that said, Merchant class is like having a knight class because of his balance defense and damage. Having a good amount of damage in tha game makes your grinding faster! Actually my newly created Merchant almost got close to my Assassin class unexpectedly but the Job Level of my Merchant is 46(understandable) due to Job Exp grinding mechanics in-game.

B. Explain the pros and cons of your job class.
-High Damage Output
-High Defense
-High Hit Points.
-Good Amount of AoE skills.
-Great Self Buffs.
-Can Solo Raid well.

-Slow attack speed.
-Low Magic Defense
-Low Percentage of Critical Damage and chances.

C. How do you plan to proceed in this part of the game.
I am looking forward to be a Blacksmith! Now I don't expect the typical Blacksmith in iRO. Looking at the skill tree of Blacksmith I can see tons of AoE and Single Target skill which is very good at Boss and Dungeon Raids. Dungeon and Boss raids is the essential of the game where the recipes of the items you need will be dropped there. Which mean higher chance of good equipment. Having a good equipment means you can farm faster, grind faster, finish Boss Hunt faster.

D. Things to improve in the game.
Job Exp grinding is very hard if you don't have the Job Training Dungeon. Grinding in the Job Training Dungeon is very helpful to the players but you can only enter it 5 times a day which means you need to login everyday to grind your job exp faster. Leveling is a lot faster in the game but buying good items need diamond instead of zeny which means you need to hunt cards, elu, ori, and other useful stuff. Hunting those stuff can get you free diamonds in-game but you need to farm tons of it before you can buy something useful in-game. Hunting for recipes is a must also, because it can only be dropped at Boss Hunt.

Relive The Journey!

For the past 17 years of gaming industry, Gravity Interactive has so much to offer to the players. Due to the ever-changing gaming platforms and consoles , one of the best innovation Gravity Interactive has to give is its new trump card, Ragnarok Journey.

To share a little background of the game, Ragnarok Journey is a web-based MMORPG that came from its predecessor Ragnarok Online. The game comprises of good playstyle and amazing artwork. The game can be played in a web browser which is very convenient to all players. With its auto-play system, players can level up their characters without breaking a sweat. You can still interact with other players and trade items as well as forming parties for better gameplay experience. PvPs and PvE are more balanced and easier to grind more levels. There are simplified features from other installments of the game that makes want to try it out, like how you need to go to a blacksmith NPC just to refine your armor and weapons, or how to craft new items by going too far places. Those things were just a click away in Ragnarok Journey. No need to hog out those Butterfly Wings just to teleport from place to place or even Novice Wings to farm out NPCs. The game was made easier and more fun to play with. Though after leveling up to 50, that's when the challenge starts as your Job and base experience will be a thing to get hard with. Dungeon raiding and boss battles have become more harder ,even more challenging and even sweeter victory.

Ragnarok Journey solves the minor and major problems from previous Ragnarok games. Easy to level up, easy to farm and easy to access. I'd definitely want more of the experience and definitely recommending this to my friends. The game brings out the youth from a very old yet exciting online game.  Whether you are an old player or a newbie like me, it's time to join the journey!

Ragnarok: Close to reality

Wandering through facebook, I think this proves that the recent post of Ragnarok Philippines regarding the comeback of the server is true.  And it is no April fool’s joke, in fact, investigating through the post yesterday, I have noticed 3 points that the rumor is true:

1.       Lower left of the image (corner) shows gravity logo
2.       Lower right of the image (corner) electronics extreme
Based on my research, electronics extreme is an Asian company which publish several games commonly in Asia.
3.       Lastly the upper right part which shows the word ELITE with logo.  I am not sure what is it and searching through the net gives tons of meaning of elite.  Though this gives me an idea that since 2 company names were visible on the image, this means it is another company.

So, if whether or not Ragnarok Philippines will launch its Philippine server, 1 thing is for sure, it’ll be awesome!

Ragnarok Philippines, the come back??

2 years ago Ragnarok Philippines from the previous Publisher, Level-up, announced that the Philippine server for Ragnarok Online will be closed, many players bid their goodbyes and some were emotional with the news.  In another story, Ragnarok online Philippines found its new home in an international server from another publisher, WarpPortal, wherein they created a new server for the Philippine players in which currently running under Thor server.  It is never a goodbye for those players, though the nostalgia for the old server originally from PH server is still there.  I myself became emotional that time when I heard the news about the closure of the server.

April 1, 2017 a post from nowhere shootout an image where depicted some characters and monstes from Ragnarok and this is not a simple fanmade image, as you can see below, it has a small white flag with words " I ♥ PHILIPPINES" and all characters were in a jeepney.  Which is a public transport for pinoys.

Is this a comeback for Ragnarok Philippines? or just another April Fool's day post where Ragnarok Fanatics got frenzied? who knows, let's see.
