Recently I conducted an interview with a gamer friend and got a chance to know about his feedback about Dragon Saga PH, here's what he says:
If you are looking for a side
scrolling and Chibi-eish MMORPG then this game is for you. DragonSaga or should
I say a former title of Dragonica is a fun past time game styles MMORPG well at
least for me. It is one of those childhood kinds of game like Grand Chase or
any similar side-scrolling type of game where you just enjoy the PVE games. When
it comes to gameplay, it really is up to your preference since this is really
not for everyone that is more into modern kind of graphic intense gameplay like
the Assassin’s Creed, Tomb Raider, and other intense games. For the Lore of
this game, it has an interesting story between dragons and magic with cliché
plot of a disturbed peaceful harmony into chaos and unbalancing the world then
the dragon race got divided with human teams teaming up with the good guys
while the Dragonkin side with the bad guys as usual.
In terms of class and characters,
I have only tried the thief class which is now an infiltrator. I can only
describe what I can logically explain in this part since I have not experience
the other race and class. The humans has
4 different Thief for me is burst and fast-paced hitter, Warrior can be a
literal warrior with shields & everything and can be a tank. Magician focus
on Magic (obviously), and Archer focus on long range and can be a hunter-like
class. The Dragonkin has two classes which are Shaman and Twin Fighter. Shaman
focus on summoning spells while fighter is more of a fighter type of class.
Each of this class has their own pros and cons but I would highly advise that
you pick a character that fits your play style. I would also suggestion due to
the lack of guide for a certain class, it is best to experience and play around
thoroughly in-game to have the best fun experience of the game especially with
the job change which is some of the main bread-and-butter to every MMORPG if
not for the job change then more spell/move skill content.
Overall the game is good and I love the fact that they keep the nostalgic gameplay however I feel like it should adapt to modern gameplay to in par the current trending games.
